Maritim Hotel Koeln - Cologne

Location near Christmas markets is excellent. Enjoyed the indoor pool and touched-button shower features. Great for those who want to explore on foot.

Central location

Poor internet connection which makes hotel unattractive for a business trip. Woulld expect wireless connection at much faster speed. TV's outdated Whole hotel smells of cigarette smoke

The location was excellent. Only about 10-15 min walk from Cologne Trainstation. Close proximity to all city sights.

There checkin time of 3pm is very late. Came across as slightly impersonal, though staff were helpful

This place was a balanced option for a short staycation in Cologne with really good value. The huge atrium-style foyer with cafes and shops was a nice surprise. Tip, Check out the indoor pool and spa for a relaxing break.

We stayed during the Cologne Gay Pride 2011. This hotel is centrally located to the event scene. Closely to the route of the gay parade and the main event place & meeting place at Heumarkt. All the hotel staff were extremely gay friendly and we had a good stay there. On the day of check out, I asked for the extension of the check out time to 15:00 hour. The front office staff allowed me to extend until 17:00 hour without any extra charge. It was really appreciated. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when in Cologne. The value for the money.

Nothing good was in this hotel and I intend to write to them.

The saff were unfriendly as if they were doin me a favor for staying in their so-called superior room. No internet. No bath rob. Not even a smile of the staff

Everything worked. We even got a late check out at 4pm without any problem. Staff was extremely helpful and called us to tell us that the room is now ready (we arrived at 9am). Room was spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the bar.

The breakfast was super and great, the check in was early.

Carpet was old and worn,One Bath Towel was in the bathroom.I had to ask for a second.Access to Internet costly and complicated.

Make sure to explore the hotel's piano bar during the evening for live music blending with a vibrant atmosphere-definitely a highlight of our stay!

The property was reasonably clean and staff was efficient. The classic room overlooked courtyard. Shower facilities, a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries were a plus. It took us 17 minutes to drive to this pleasant accommodation from the airport.

1. Smoking in the hotel atrium. 2. Breakfast arrangements in Le Rotisserie: overcrowded, tables not cleared promptly when vacated, insufficient waiting staff, poor service generally. (But breakfast at the nearby cafe - Cafe Heumarkt, was very good.)

perfect location for shopping and city trip. good breakfast buffet. clean, though a bit worn out rooms.

We enjoyed a great night out at the Musical Dome and visited the Philharmonic, both just a short walk away. The breakfast offered plenty of delicious options and the staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, it's super close to loads of restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately, the gym was quite small and lacked proper equipment, disappointing for a fitness enthusiast like me.
